The Hertog Global Strategy Initiative Summer Program

New Summer Program, Extended Deadline The Department of History at Columbia University seeks talented undergraduate and graduate students for the first Hertog Global Strategy Initiative, an intensive summer program that will take place over 12 weeks from May 24 through August 13. The 2010 topic is "Nuclear Proliferation and the Future of World Power."

KCJS Summer Program in Advanced and Classical Japanese/Critical Languages Scholarship Program

The Kyoto Consortium of Japanese Studies (KCJS) is pleased to announce the second year of its Summer Program in Advanced and Classical Japanese. This six-week program offers intensive training in advanced and classical Japanese for highly motivated undergraduate and graduate students who have completed three years of Japanese or the equivalent. Eight points of credit are awarded on a Columbia University transcript upon completion of the program.
