New Summer Study Abroad Fellowship for Summer 2010

Columbia is pleased to announce a new summer study abroad fellowship for summer 2010 (dates June 25—July 15) with Columbia alumnus Greg Wyatt at the ancient site of Ephesos.  The purpose of this summer workshop will be to introduce students to the reflective thought and artistic practices required to draw and paint ancient Greek sites in situ. This workshop will be led under the supervision of Greg Wyatt, Columbia ’71.

Fisher Civil Liberties Fellowship - Summer 2010

Interested in spending a summer learning more about advocacy, policy and development at one of the nation's foremost defenders of civil liberties and civil rights? Through the Solomon & Seymour Fisher Civil Liberties Fellowship, rising juniors and seniors can apply for summer 2010 to work at the NYCLU in a dynamic, paid summer internship. The Rhodes Scholarship When: Monday, September 14, 3:00 pm Where: The Core Conference Room (202 Hamilton Hall) Who: Jisung Park, Rhodes winner 2009, CC ‘09 Learn about the oldest international fellowship directly from Jisung Park –Columbia College’s very own 2009 Rhodes Scholars – before he heads over to Oxford to begin his studies. He will provide insights into the application process as well as share his strategies for putting together the best application possible.
