The Moonshine Show

Bluegrass and old-time music programming first appeared on WKCR in 1963 under the direction of renowned banjo player, Pete Wernick. The Moonshine Show continues this long standing tradition, presenting the hill country string music of the Mid-South via classic recordings and frequent live in-studio performances.
