Youth Mic

Youth Mic is a teen radio program that runs out of WKCR studios in which high-school and middle-school-aged producers create a weekly talk show on issues important to teens. Every Monday from 9:00-9:30 p.m. the Youth Mic crew presents news, debate, poetry and commentaries on topics that concern teens from their unique perspectives. Participants are a diverse group of students from each borough who come together to share their voices with each other and the wider New York population.
