Francis Poulenc Sonata for Oboe and Piano undefined Nonesuch H-71033

Bach and Webern–two composers utterly fascinated by structure and order, chaos and death. We center this program around Christoph Poppen's superb album 'Ricercar,' recorded with the Münchener Kammerorchester & Hilliard Ensemble. Poulenc's sonata for Oboe and piano provides a palette cleanser (which is not to say it is bland or inoffensive music!!) before we return to Bach on our usual Bach Hour program.
