A tribute broadcast to the spectacular mezzo-soprano Olga Borodina. Now performing as Amneris in Aida, Borodina has given near definitive performances of roles as varied as Dalila, Marfa in Khovanshschina, and Marguerite in La Damnation de Faust. She spoke to us today about her extensive career and what keeps her interested in singing, even after twenty-five great years on all the world's greatest stages. Special thanks to translator Nina Manoukian.
