As this is one of the last shows I'll be programming on WKCR I decided to do a special broadcast.  These are original blues songs and the rock n' roll hits that were inspired by them.  I kicked off the show with two Henry Butler tunes in promotion of a gig he'll be playing tomorrow afternoon at Joe's Pub.  Check it out if you can!  He is one of the best piano players ever to come out of New Orleans.
