Influential American serialist composer Milton Babbitt passed away on January 29th, 2011 at the age of 94. On February 1, 2011 WKCR took a moment to look back on some of the composer's better known works, as well as to present an array of interviews recorded with Babbitt himself, and those who knew him as a colleague and friend. We hope you, the listener, will regard this playlist as a modest homage to the artist.
