The recordings of Paul Ben-Haim's "Psalm" and Maurice Ravel's "La Valse" were both from an April 1990 live recording from Tel Aviv, Israel, featuring the Berlin Philharmonic side-by-side on stage with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, under the baton of Zubin Mehta. This coincided with the conclusion of the Berlin Philharmonic's historic tour of Israel.

Also played was Avner Dorman's Mandolin Concerto (2006), written for Avi Avital and recorded on the Naxos American Classics label in 2007, and Avital's transcription of Bach's Harpsichord Concerto No. 5 for mandolin, from his first album, Bach, also from Deutsche Grammophon.
