In the first part of the show, we finished Sviatoslav Richter's 1976 recording of Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier, Book II, which we had started a few weeks ago. The show concluded with another legendary Russian interpreter of Bach, Mstislav Rostropovich, playing the C minor Suite for unaccompanied cello.

Instead of programming Afternoon Classical and Bach Hour separately, we did something of a Bach 3-Hour to celebrate the life and work of the late Gustav Leonhardt, who passed away on Monday the 16th. Thanks to Dorian Bon who helped with the selections.
