In the coming weeks, WKCR will at last step once again through the door, returning to higher stereophonic fidelity and higher power. More listeners will hear us more clearly than at any time since 9/11. To commemorate, we’ll be living the last hours of our mono-only life with a solid block of pre-stereo recordings, much of it broadcast from actual 78s. And then we’ll throw the switch to a week of stereo breakthroughs.
