Richard Koziol (1946-2011)

With shock and regret WKCR reports the sudden death on Saturday of Richard Koziol, our chief engineer. Mr. Koziol held WKCR's highest technical office for more than 18 years. He planned and oversaw two complete moves of the station’s primary studio, two full renovations, the very arduous reconstruction after 9/11, and WKCR’s ongoing conversion to HD multicasting—in addition to supervising the daily operations of our station and others in the area. Richard’s presence and talents will be missed by the WKCR community of volunteers and listeners.
