This Week in the New Music Department: Come one, come all! to Stockhausen's Birthday Jamboree!

Join us Monday, August 22 and Tuesday, August 23, as we in the New Music Department pay homage to the late, great, and always controversial Karlheinz Stockhausen, who turns 83 this year. We will remember the composer of such groundbreaking works as "Gesang der Jünglinge", "Kontakte", and the monumental opera "Licht" by playing his exclusively his music on our New Music programs: Afternoon New Music (3:00-6:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday) and Transfigured Night (1:00-5:00 a.m. on Tuesday).
