This Week in the New Music Department: The Philosophical Strain in American Postwar Music

Wednesday, July 6, 3pm-6pm: On Wednesday Afternoon New Music, the New Music department once again picks up the series "The Philosophical Strain in American Postwar Music" after a one-week hiatus. The collaborative effort between WKCR New Music and composer/Open Space founder Benjamin Boretz details music from "thinker-composers" who have sometimes been overlooked or disregarded, yet were fundamental in formulating the most important questions for music today.
