This week on SNO: Composer David T. Little and the world premiere of Dog Days
Submitted by Katie Salmon on Sat, 22 Sep 2012, 8:24pm
On this week’s installment of SNO we welcome composer David T. Little, whose first full-length opera, titled Dog Days, will premiere next Saturday, September 29 at Peak Performances at Montclaire State University. The opera is a black comedy with libretto by Royce Vavrek based on a post-apocalyptic short story by Judy Budnitz. The production is by Beth Morrison. Tonight David will discuss this new work and he has curated the playlist this evening, which takes us from Puccini to Mahler to Glass.
