Urban Studies Fall 2012 Program Planning Meeting (11/13)
Urban Studies Fall 2012 Program Planning Meeting
Tuesday, November 13th
Diana LL 104
Please join us for our Fall 2012 informational meeting, where we will give a general overview of the program, answer questions about our curricular requirements, and discuss the unique opportunities that the Barnard–Columbia Urban Studies program has to offer.
All Urban Studies majors, faculty members, and prospective students are invited to attend.
Pizza and drinks will be served.
Thanks to everyone who came out to the Program Planning Meeting last night. In case you were unable to make it, attached is a scanned PDF of the packet we handed out. You will find all of the information necessary to plan your Spring 2013 schedule, should you be considering a major in Urban Studies.
This packet is also available on our website, at anytime, on the Forms and Resources page.
PS one of the simple questions we addressed last night was: which courses should I take first? If you are a freshman or sophomore, we recommend that you take at least one 'A' course, since you must take at least two 'A' courses before taking your Junior Colloquia. You can find a list of all the 'A', 'B', and 'C' courses being offered next term on this page: http://urban.barnard.edu/spring2013ABClist
