Because of the popularity of this service and limited seating in the chapel, seating is only guaranteed for degree candidates. Additional seating is available under a tent on the lawn of St. Paul's Chapel, where guests may watch a live webcast of the service.
Ushers will be available to assist guests with disabilities to designated seating areas. No special tickets are required.
Please note that the chapel is not air-conditioned.
Seating for the Columbia Engineering and Columbia College Class Day ceremonies will be on the South Lawns of Columbia's Morningside Heights campus. Tickets are not required and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis and will begin approximately one (1) hour before each ceremony's scheduled start time.
Seating areas may be accessed via any campus gates. Guests with disabilities should enter campus via the accessible gates at 116th Street and Amsterdam Avenue. See the disability access map for more information.
Seating areas will be tented to shield guests from the elements; however, we encourage guests to check the weather forecast and dress accordingly. The ceremonies will take place outdoors rain or shine.
