Rebecca Smith is a senior from New York City graduating with a major in French & Francophone Studies and a special concentration in Business Management. She is being recognized for her spirit and dedication to the Columbia community as a Training, Onboarding, and Engagement Leader for the Undergraduate Recruitment Committee––where she leads tours and information sessions for prospective students, trains other student tour guides, and interviews prospective students for the Academic Success Program––and as the Student Representative for the Columbia College Alumni Association––where she serves as a liaison between current students and alumni and mentors underclassmen. She also serves as the Treasurer of the Columbia French Cultural Society and as a Selection Committee Member for the Choix Goncourt USA literary prize. She looks forward to continuing to embody the Columbia spirit as an alumna.
