Evelyn proudly hails from Boston, Massachusetts where she started her journey as a student activist. Through her time at Columbia, Evelyn has dedicated much of her time to building community through Q House and Sabor. This work extends to the Multicultural Affairs Office where she works as a Student Coordinator for LGBTQ@Columbia. Across all her leadership roles she has developed programming to serve direct constituents and the greater Columbia community. Her ethos emerges from Audre Lorde's tradition, which she hopes to continue to expand beyond college. She will be leaving Columbia with a degree in Ethnicity and Race Studies.
