HMRI provides a volunteer program for students interested in careers in biomedical research. During the Summer Student Research Program students experience medical research aimed at developing effective diagnosis and treatment of medical problems. This program is open to undergraduate and graduate Students. Several HMRI alumni have gone on to be chairs of medical school departments and medical research institutes.
