Columbia Mandarin Debate Society (CMDA) is an undergraduate academic organization at Columbia University aimed to helping undergraduate students enhance their pursuit of Chinese/Mandarin academic practice through events including, but not limited to, debate tournaments, professional workshops, lunch chats, mentorship tutoring, and career panels. By learning and practicing with professionals in Mandarin debate fields, CMDA members gain support and guidance from debate masters to express themselves and advocate for their opinions openly and bravely.
