Personal Statement

Law schools require applicants to write a personal statement as part of the

Premedical Advisory Committee (PAC) Process

The Premedical Advisory Committee (PAC) process is designed to help prepare Columbia students and alumni to be successful applicants to health professional school. The Columbia PAC Institutional Letter of Support is a letter that serves as the cover page for your letters of recommendation for health professional school. The Columbia letter confirms that you are (or were) a Columbia student in good standing. It provides institutional information specific to Columbia students and alums and their academic experience. It addresses any academic or disciplinary sanctions on your record that resulted in Probation or Suspension. Finally it presents your letters of recommendation to the health professional schools.

Diversity in the Health Professions

Schools of the health professions are committed to educating and training a workforce which will more closely mirror our US population in terms of race and ethnicity.
