King and Junior Parker, while establishing himself as a significant solo artist with hit singles such as “Farther Up The Road” and “Turn On Your Love Light.” Bland was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1992 and recognized with a Grammy Award for lifetime achievement in 1997.
