Thursday 3-6 PM: Bang on a Can Marathon on Afternoon Classical

Afternoon Classical this Thursday, June 16 will highlight music from contemporary composers who will be featured at this year's annual Bang on a Can Marathon at the World Financial Center in NYC (not to be confused with the annual Bang on a Can Festival in North Adams, Massachusetts). The Bang on a Can Marathon is one of the most highly anticipated events in the summer concert season, and runs for 13 hours, from 11am to midnight on Sunday, June 19th, and the full setlist can be found at http://bangonacan.org/marathon/schedule.
