This Week in the Jazz Department: Undead Jazzfest! Satoko Fujii and Natsuki Tamura

We continue a week of Undead Jazz on this Thursday's edition of Out to Lunch with an interview with Japanese pianist, composer, and bandleader Satoko Fujii and her husband Natsuki Tamura. The pair will play with their group ma-do on Thursday, June 23rd as the first band on (Le) Poisson Rouge's stage to kick off the Undead Jazzfest beginning at 7 pm.

The gig will also be a celebration of Tamura's 60th birthday. This rare opportunity to hear Fujii discuss her music, compositions, and influences should not be missed. More information is available at www.satokofujii.com.
