This Week in the News Department: Into the Archives!

Tune in this summer as we explore WKCR's News archives! Our programming will alternate between the presentation of historical recordings and coverage of today's issues, culminating in the development of an online news archive. Be sure to check back in as the project continues to grow!

On Late City Edition (9:00pm-9:30pm), we will take a listen to the third and final part of an interview with Abbie Hoffman conducted by Frank Tipton on April 2, 1988. Abbot Howard "Abbie" Hoffman (November 30, 1936 – April 12, 1989) was a political and social activist who co-founded the Youth International Party.
