This Thursday's Late City Edition will feature a discussion taped on Saturday, June 2 on Columbia's campus as part of the Dean's Day Public Intellectuals Lectures. "Why Explore Space?" is a conversation between theoretical cosmologist Janna Levin '88 BC - an associate professor of physics and astronomy at Barnard College - and NASA astronaut Michael Massimino '84 SEAS. The talk addresses aspects of space exploration, including how and why we reach beyond the earth and what are we learning. Make sure to tune in at 9PM.
