Fall Term | Over this term students should: |
Winter Break | Work on PAC Application for the Committee Evaluation |
Spring Term | All course work that is required for the necessary admission tests should be completed by the end of the year. |
February | Submit PAC Application by email to the Office of Preprofessional Advising: see application packet for specific deadline. |
May | AMCAS/AACOMAS/AADSAS/VMCAS applications available on-line. |
Summer | A copy of the AMCAS/AACOMAS/AADSAS application must be submitted to the Office Preprofessional Advising via email. |
Summer-October | Premedical Committee Evaluations are uploaded/sent to health professional schools; Students should begin to receive and complete secondary applications. These secondary applications should be completed in a 2-3 week turn-around time. |
Application Year | |
September to April | Throughout the academic year, students should prepare for and attend interviews. |
October 1 | Early decision acceptances announced. |
October-August | Medical school admissions decisions sent out. Students should record their acceptances and rejections in the Office of Prepreprofessional Advising. |
May 15 | Students should release all but one acceptance to allopathic medical schools. |
Late Summer | Students should inform the Preprofessional office of their final school choice. |
