Transcripts

Low Library InteriorApplicants must submit transcript(s) to LSDAS from each undergraduate and graduate school they attended. This includes study abroad programs. Please refer to page 20 of the LSAT & LSDAS Registration and Information Book for further details or confer with staff members in the Office of Pre-professional Advising.

The transcripts should be sent directly from the school's registrar's office to:

LSDAS
Box 2000M
Newtown, PA 18940-0993

Use the LSDAS Transcript Request Form found in the forms section in the LSAT & LSDAS Registration and Information Book. This form is not required, however the form will serve to expedite the matching of your transcript to your LSDAS file. LSDAS will not accept transcripts from applicants.

Students and alumni/ae must request their Columbia transcript on-line from the Registrar’s Office or in person at 205 Kent.

Students should check their transcripts for accuracy. Undergraduates who find errors in their Columbia transcript should see a class dean in their respective advising center. Alumni/ae should contact staff members in the Office of Pre-professional Advising.

Submit transcripts over the summer to LSDAS to avoid delays in the fall. Students should wait until they receive their spring (or summer) grades. Likewise, students should send their updated transcript to LSAC and to the individual schools as soon as they receive their fall semester grades.

After summarizing an applicant's transcript(s), LSAC will post on-line or mail the applicant their Master Law School Report. Check the Law School Report for accuracy. Applicants who discover an error in their Master Law Report should write or call LSAC. See page 19 of the LSAT & LSDAS Registration and Information Book for more information, the address, and telephone number.
